— YOUR JOURNEY

How a beginner becomes a player

Four phases. No skipped steps. The same path our 3,200+ students have walked.

01

WEEK 1–4

Hold the guitar like you mean it

Posture, hand position, basic chord shapes, and three of the most useful strumming patterns in popular music. By week four you are already playing through full song charts.

02

WEEK 5–10

Hear it. Find it. Play it.

Ear training, basic music theory, the major scale, and your first real songs from start to finish. You stop guessing chords and start hearing them.

03

WEEK 11–18

Pick your style and go deep

Specialize: blues phrasing, fingerstyle arrangements, rock rhythm, jazz comping, indie-folk songwriting. You build vocabulary in the language you actually want to speak.

04

WEEK 19+

Make something of your own

Songwriting workshops, recording fundamentals, an open-mic feedback group, and a final piece you can put your name on. This is when you stop being someone learning guitar and become a guitarist.

— QUESTIONS

Things people ask before they sign up

I have never touched a guitar. Is this for me?

Yes — most of our students are absolute beginners. The Acoustic Foundations course assumes zero prior experience. We literally start at “here is how to hold a pick.”

How much time per week do I need?

20 minutes a day, five days a week, gets you real results. The students who graduate the fastest practice short and consistent, not long and sporadic.

What guitar should I buy?

Honest answer: the cheapest one that stays in tune. We have a free buying guide with three picks under $200 that won’t fight you while you learn.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — monthly plans are cancel-anytime, no penalty. Annual plans get a 14-day full refund window. We have a no-pressure ethos because we know guitar takes time.
